Copyright Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

FISTY respects intellectual property rights and expects users, creators, businesses, room hosts, and other participants to do the same. This Policy explains how copyright concerns involving content on FISTY may be reported and reviewed.

1. Respect rights when sharing

FISTY lets people watch together, react, share links, bring media into rooms, create Moments, host experiences, and discuss third-party content. Those features do not give users ownership or licensing rights they do not otherwise have.

Only upload, stream, publish, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use content when you have the rights or permission required to do so.

2. Content that may be subject to copyright

Copyright concerns may involve many types of content, including:

3. Third-party links and shared sources

FISTY may allow users to bring links or content from third-party services into a shared room experience.

Linking to, embedding, previewing, synchronizing, or discussing a third-party source does not mean FISTY or the user owns that source. Access to third-party content may remain subject to the source provider's terms, licenses, technical restrictions, and applicable law.

4. Reactions and transformative content

Reactions, commentary, criticism, parody, news reporting, education, and other uses may sometimes be legally permitted depending on the facts and applicable law.

FISTY does not determine in advance that every reaction, clip, remix, commentary video, or Moment qualifies for a legal exception. Users remain responsible for the content they publish and the rights necessary for their use.

5. Reporting alleged copyright infringement

If you are a copyright owner or are authorized to act for one and believe content available through FISTY infringes your copyright, you may send a copyright notice to:

FISTY Copyright Team
watch@fistyapp.com

Please use a clear subject line such as Copyright Notice.

6. Information to include in a copyright notice

To help us identify and review the material, your notice should include:

7. What happens after a notice

FISTY may review the notice, request additional information, restrict or remove access to identified content, preserve relevant records, notify the affected user, or take other steps appropriate under applicable law.

A complete notice helps us evaluate a request more efficiently. An incomplete notice may delay review.

8. Counter-notices

If content you posted was removed or restricted because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal was caused by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice where permitted by applicable law.

A counter-notice should include:

Send counter-notices to watch@fistyapp.com with the subject line Copyright Counter-Notice.

9. Restoration after a counter-notice

Where applicable law provides a counter-notice process, FISTY may forward a valid counter-notice to the original claimant and may restore content after the applicable waiting period unless the claimant provides notice of appropriate legal action or another legal basis requires continued restriction.

10. False or abusive notices

Do not knowingly submit false copyright claims, fraudulent ownership information, fabricated evidence, or abusive notices intended to silence lawful speech or harass another user.

Misrepresentations in copyright notices or counter-notices may result in legal consequences and may also lead to restrictions on use of FISTY.

11. Repeat infringement

FISTY may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights in appropriate circumstances.

FISTY may consider the nature of the reports, the validity of notices, counter-notices, account history, restored content, court decisions, and other relevant information when applying a repeat-infringer policy.

12. Creator and host responsibilities

Creators and room hosts are responsible for ensuring that content they upload, rebroadcast, perform, distribute, sell, or monetize is used with appropriate rights.

A paid room, sponsored room, creator subscription, product promotion, or commercial event does not expand the rights a creator has to third-party music, video, television, sports, movies, or other copyrighted material.

13. Live rooms and streams

Live content may present copyright issues even when a source is available elsewhere on the internet.

Do not use FISTY to unlawfully rebroadcast sports, movies, television, concerts, pay-per-view programming, subscription streams, or other protected content.

FISTY may disable a stream, room, camera source, or account where needed to address a valid rights complaint or prevent ongoing infringement.

14. Music

Music can involve multiple rights, including rights in a sound recording, musical composition, performance, or synchronization.

Having access to a song through a personal streaming account does not automatically grant permission to rebroadcast, synchronize, commercially use, or distribute that music through FISTY.

15. Products, sellers, and intellectual property

FISTY commerce features must not be used to advertise, promote, or sell counterfeit or infringing goods.

Sellers and creators are responsible for rights in product images, descriptions, trademarks, artwork, videos, and other materials they submit.

16. Trademark and other intellectual property concerns

This page primarily addresses copyright. Concerns involving trademarks, impersonation, counterfeit products, publicity rights, or other intellectual-property issues may require a different review.

You may contact watch@fistyapp.com with enough information to identify the issue and the relevant FISTY content.

17. FISTY-owned materials

FISTY's name, software, interface, original graphics, brand elements, product designs, and other proprietary materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other laws.

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, reverse engineered where prohibited, or commercially used except as permitted by law or by written authorization.

18. Preservation and legal requests

FISTY may preserve content, account information, reports, and related records when reasonably necessary to investigate a rights complaint, comply with legal obligations, resolve a dispute, or protect the service.

19. Changes to this Copyright Policy

We may update this Policy as FISTY's services, rights-management tools, or legal obligations evolve. The effective date above identifies the current version.
